The Challenge
Professional networking hasn't evolved in decades. Paper business cards are wasteful, get lost immediately, and cannot be updated once printed. The few digital business card platforms available were surface-level users could add a photo, some links, and basic contact details. That was it.
After studying the existing market we identified three critical gaps nobody was solving:
- Customisation was severely limited. Most platforms offered template-based cards with no flexibility to build information-rich, personalised profiles.
- There were no privacy controls. For professionals especially women sharing a card meant exposing personal phone numbers and contact details to strangers with no control over who could access them.
- Networking tools stopped at the card. There was no way to manage the leads generated, book follow-up appointments, or track connections meaningfully.
The opportunity was clear: build a platform that treats digital networking as a complete system not just a digital version of a paper card.
Our Approach
We started by mapping the complete networking journey from first meeting to follow-up to ongoing relationship.
Every feature was designed to solve a specific friction point in that journey.
The product was built in phases. Phase one focused on the core digital card experience creation, sharing, and customisation. Phase two introduced smart features lead management, appointment booking, and the SecureShare privacy system. Phase three expanded to B2B NFC physical cards, an e-commerce store, and a membership management system for organisations.
We built and launched this as a registered company Skyllo Digitech Private Limited validating the market by selling 20 NFC cards personally in the first month with zero marketing budget.
Tech stack: Laravel, Flutter, MySQL, NFC integration, payment gateway, VPS deployment.

Appointment Booking System : Users can allow connections to book appointments directly through their Skyllo profile removing the back-and-forth of scheduling.
Mobile App : Full-featured Flutter app for iOS and Android. Manage your card, track leads, handle appointments, and share your profile on the go.
NFC Card E-Commerce Store : Physical NFC cards available for purchase directly through the platform. Linked to your Skyllo profile tap to share instantly anywhere.
Membership Management : Organisation-level memberships allowing teams and companies to manage multiple cards under one account.
Admin Panel : Complete backend management for users, memberships, NFC card inventory, orders, and platform analytics.
The Results
Skyllo launched as a registered private limited company. Skyllo Digitech Private Limited, Indore and achieved real market validation from day one.
20 NFC cards were sold personally in the first month with zero marketing budget proving genuine market demand for a smarter networking solution.
The platform now serves 10000+ active profiles across India with an active digital card ecosystem, physical NFC card sales, and a growing membership base.
